A Few Words on becoming the INBF World Figure Champion...

by Sharon Gayle January 1, 2010

Well folks, I can honestly say that I did not expect such a fantastic outcome!  I knew I would step on stage looking good and very polished, as I had prepared both mentally and physically throughout the year with the intention of competing at the INBF Worlds.  Speaking to the judges at previous competitions, and getting their feedback on my presentation, posing, physique, was essential. I forged ahead, tweaking and fine-tuning my body per their suggestions, but to my satisfaction.  I have always considered myself, competing against myself …always striving to step on stage looking better than I did the last time, and shining a little more brightly!

When you know you've done the very best you could with what you have i.e. time, finances, encouragement, and the wrenches that life often throws into the mix; regardless of the outcome, you can and should walk away feeling like a winner! ~SG.
